Mazurick Architecture currently consists of 6 highly talented and experienced Architects, Interior Designers and Technologists, whom have been with the firm since it’s inception.

​Our studio environment is structured to encourage interaction and a collaborative design approach.  From design inception through to the completion of construction, all team members are exposed to all phases of project delivery. Our strong personal commitment to each project, combined with the firms broad base of experience, has resulted in successful projects and repeat building partners.

David believes a successful built environment involves the client, architects, designers, and construction contractors operating as one team to achieve the ideal schedule, cost, and design innovation. Through the past one-and-a-half decades, David has developed a reputation for design excellence and an extensive portfolio in commercial, cultural, public, and residential projects. His commitment to collaborating with clients and project stakeholders results in a holistic, integrated approach at every stage.

David is an industry leader in employing building information modelling to ensure a cohesive design and coordination process. He shares his knowledge and passion for this technology as a regular guest lecturer at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Engineering. He earned his Master’s of Architecture from the University of Calgary and also studied abroad at the Universitat International de Cataluña’s School of Architecture in Barcelona, Spain.

During his 25-plus year career as a drafting technologist and job captain, Joel has accumulated extensive experience in architectural and interior design drafting that aims to impress both functionally and imaginatively. He always remains current in his technical expertise by using the latest technologies to provide clients with quality service, on time and within budget every time.

It is Joel’s ability to quickly adapt and understand client needs, along with his industry-leading technical expertise and skills and thoughtful approach, that have earned him the respect of our clients and industry partners.
